Super Heavy: first album in September 2011

After the resounding announcement of creation of the group Super Heavy, or when a group of friends consisting of Mick Jagger, Dave Stewart, Damian Merley, singer Joss Stone and composer Allah Rakha Rahman decided to join forces to create a new group Music, here comes soon get the first album of new project from Mick Jagger.

Billed as the end of the Rolling Stones, the news had caused a stir with the announcement by Mick Jagger of the creation of the group Super Heavy. The birth of Super Heavy is not a coincidence, but has its roots in previous collaborations with artists Mick Jagger. Mick Jagger had already collaborated with Dave Stewart and Joss Stone on the film "Alfie" by Charles Shyer, in 2004.


At the announcement of these great names, we may expect to discover a new artistic project of Mick Jagger very colorful. Rock'n'roll, pop, soul, world music, a mix of backgrounds which should give a new flavor to the music of Mick Jagger. The news has been formalized by the new group's label, Universal Republic.

The first album of Super Heavy happen so in September 2011. For now, no name has been announced but the first single called "Miracle Worker" is expected to arrive soon. Shortly after the release of the song, the video should also make its appearance on our screens with the presence of five stars that make up Super Heavy.

The Super Heavy album was recorded all over the world. In the studios of Paris, Miami and India. Mick Jagger, Dave Stewart, Joss Stone, AR Rahman and Damian Marley have made no fewer than 22 songs in the space of six days only. The general theme of the album is inspired by the life of boxer Muhammad Ali.

While many questions still remain about the musical style of the group Super Heavy, the mixture of the artists who made us promise a vibrant music and we can expect to discover a new art project very colorful.
