Nirvana: Nevermind commemorative edition for 20 years ... And it seems like yesterday!

As time goes on. It seems like yesterday when I walked in the courtyard of the school, concerned only that class was the next thing I was going to jump, and the walkman  listening to Soundgarden Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains ...

Those were the days of grunge, and of course, there was a real king until they came with Nevermind Nirvana. If I must admit I am a full-fledged viejuno because, believe it, but 20 years ago that 1991, when Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl released their legendary second album, Nevermind, produced by Butch Vig.

They had tried to succeed with Bleach, but Nevermind was his true dedication and drive that made trigger for Bleach sales (and subsequent work) was also shot. Although the tracklist had other hits like 'Lithium' and 'Come As You Are', it goes without saying that almost everything is owed to 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', the subject's most influential album without a doubt, the everyone has been so reminded trio and is possibly responsible for having placed definitely grunge sound on the map internationally.

One issue that was a real anthem for a generation, Generation X called it, and for some it was simply the hottest topic of the moment, caught us in their most impressionable possible. After the summer will mark the twentieth anniversary of true as iconic album, September 24, specifically, and clearly, as if it had not yet made enough cash with an album that has sold a whopping 30 million copies, now it do checkout again most fans of Cobain and co.

Will the special edition that Universal has prepared for the occasion: a quadruple album + DVD apparently includes rare and unpublished material from the band and radio recordings and a concert that has not been published to date DVD. It is clear that the occasion deserves a celebration in style, like this or even higher, and as rumored, the owner of the rights label is preparing to make it, with the participation of various artists and various events throughout throughout the year.

If you have to bet, I'd do a tribute album as well, those in which artists reinterpret the themes of Nevermind, but that's just a gamble, and time will tell whether I have reason. In what is certain is that we will spend a long time hearing and reading a lot sobreNirvana, even here in Hypersonic, where you have prepared the odd little thing, so go making them the body that you have an allergy to the sound grunge, which I have much to suffer, the more viejunos the place, we heard the tape cassette Nevermind and Nirvana fans already enjoy in for good measure.
