John Barry, author of James Bond soundtracks, is dead

The British composer John Barry, famous for his work on soundtracks for James Bond films, Born Free, Out of Africa, or Midnight Cowboy Dances with Wolves, died at age 77 of a heart attack, the BBC reported .
